Studio practice / Cultural collaboration
Tapetown at The Reserve
Tapetown Studio is the Danish recording, mixing, mastering and live-session studio founded by Rasmus Bredvig in Aarhus. Tapetown Friland is the recording studio being developed at The Reserve on Djursland. The Reserve is the wider cultural project, with plans for an atelier, residencies and cultural activity.

Tapetown, also written TapeTown, began in Aarhus and co-founded the Lydhavnen studio community. Its live sessions bring artists together in one room, fully live and without overdubs. The session archive identifies the musicians, locations, recording engineers and mixers behind each release.
That work extends beyond the studio: KEXP sessions at SPOT Festival, the Eurosauna art and music event in Groningen, stage collaborations with Roskilde Festival Højskole, and the Tapetown-led Erasmus+ project Talent Across Borders. These projects took place in their original venues and partnerships; they form part of the experience behind The Reserve.
