THE
RESERVE

The Reserve / Friland · Djursland · Denmark

Cultural production, concerts and collaborations

Cultural production at The Reserve draws on Tapetown’s work with concerts, festival stages, live sessions, art events and international exchange. That experience includes audiovisual production for KEXP at SPOT Festival, Eurosauna with Het resort, and youth-led projects. The Reserve’s own spaces and programme are being developed at Friland on Djursland.

Discuss your project with Rasmus

Concerts and events, from the stage to the film

A cultural project may need a live event, a recorded performance, or both. We discuss the programme, setting, audience and production responsibilities together, so the concert and the resulting film have a clear purpose. Stage production, audio, video and project management can form part of the agreed scope.

Tapetown’s work spans showcase stages at SPOT, on-location sessions at To Øl City and GLAS museum, and concert productions with Aarhus Sinfonietta. The project archive names the contribution to each collaboration, including work limited to recording or audio post-production.

Partnerships and projects with young people

Alongside technical production, Tapetown develops cultural collaborations and learning programmes. Talent Across Borders is an Erasmus+ project led by Tapetown. Work with Roskilde Festival Højskole gives young organisers practical responsibility for real events; TAL brings together project development, live sessions and documentation with RADAR and ROSA.

For a new collaboration, tell us who should take part, what they should be able to influence and what support the project needs. Those decisions shape the partnership, production plan and division of responsibility from the beginning.

Practical questions

Before we talk.

Can a concert and a live film be planned together?

Yes. Tapetown’s project experience includes live events with audio and video production. We agree the event, recording and release requirements as part of the brief.

Do the projects in the archive take place at The Reserve?

The archive documents Tapetown’s work in its original locations. It shows the experience behind The Reserve, whose spaces and programme are in development.

Can young people help lead a production?

Yes. Youth participation in management is part of TAB, and the SPOT collaborations with Roskilde Festival Højskole give students responsibility for event concepts and delivery.

What should I include in a cultural project enquiry?

Send the idea, partners, intended audience, location, timing and budget if known. Say whether you need event production, a film, project management or a combination.
