Talent Across Borders, or TAB, is an Erasmus+ project led by Tapetown, developed with RADAR and Lake Woozoo. Cultural project leadership beyond a single event
TAB addresses the working conditions of emerging musicians as well as the music they make. Its focus is on healthier and more sustainable careers through contact with peers and independent professionals. Central Denmark EU Office’s project account describes the need for support around uncertainty and mental wellbeing in the music industry.
Tapetown leads the project from development into implementation. Young people are included in project management, connecting the programme’s aims with practical responsibility for how it is run.
Exchange, learning and a shared community
The published project format combines an online community with learning sessions and in-person workshops. Tapetown’s project page and RADAR’s account describe the Danish–Dutch partnership and its shared learning approach. They also explain how participants can connect with the programme.
For organisations considering a related project, the starting questions are who it should serve, what participants need and how they can influence the work. Programme development, partner responsibilities and project management need to be considered together. Enquiries about cultural collaboration at The Reserve can draw on this Tapetown experience.
